The photo-sharing website Flickr has a wonderful community of Second Life folks posting SL snapshots and artwork there, including my friend Alles Klaar. Alles is working feverishly to complete artwork for her upcoming exhibition at the Rose Theatre Galleries. She plans to feature a series of Second Life avatar portraits all centered around one object… red boxing gloves! I was humbled when Alles invited me to pose for her for the upcoming exhibition! I’m anxiously awaiting the show opening to get a peek at my Alles Klaar boxing glove portrait, but if it’s anything like the photo she took of me in the Lady Gaga gun bra, I know it will be well-worth the wait!
In the meantime, I thought I’d bring out the gloves for my own photoshoot to help showcase the lovely Sublime lingerie by Blacklace, which is part of this week’s Taste of SL event. The entire ensemble, which also includes a skirt (not shown), can be purchased for only L$99 this week. The corset of the set is gorgeous. I love the sculpted breast attachment, which was easy to fit and gives the piece an authentic look. The black lace panties provide adequate coverage yet ooze sexiness!
This week’s TOSL theme is Once Upon a Time and the Magnifique Poses shop is this week’s TOSL Featured Designer. In these photos, you see part of Magnifique’s Castle Window Pose Prop, which comes with five built-in poses and is currently on sale for L$75. Those who join the “Taste Of Second Life Shopping!” in-world group can receive a special Prince Charming gift (not shown) from Magnifique this week… just wear the group tag while you’re at the store and click the gift display next to the castle window prop.
And did I mention how much I *love* the Queen of Heart skin that Vogue Body Shop created for TOSL this week? This creative skin was sent to the Taste of SL Bloggers Group and is supposedly on sale this week for only L$50 but I couldn’t find it in-store. I sent a notecard to creator BettyCherry in hopes she can point me to where you can pick up this awesome skin!
